| Movie Game |
[Jul. 23rd, 2006|08:39 pm] |
Stolen from Chiron...
1. Pick fifteen(harder than it sounds!) films you love/thoroughly enjoyed. 2. Find screen captures (stills) for each film, preferably from scenes you like. If you can't find a still, pick a new movie. 3. Post the pictures with the rules; let your readers guess which still is from which movie. (Readers, no cheating. No google!!) 4. Post the answers, and pick a winner.

[Feb. 1st, 2006|06:42 pm] |
hey folks. brief update.
i've started a new job, this time something i went to school for!
i'm the 10th grade 12+1+1 teacher at monroe high school in the city. i teach math, english, and social studies to the same 10-12 kids all day every day. it's fun so far. the people are nice and the kids are a trip. i guess the city isn't as bad as people(myself) make it out to be. the kids just need to know you care about them, and they're cool. i've realized that after just 3 days there. hopefully more good experiences follow. |

I've recently started watching Nick At Nite for the first time in God knows how long. Fresh Prince, Cosby, and Roseanne. Especially Roseanne. Thank you, Nick at Nite. I grew up watching Roseanne, and find its biting humor very funny to this day. I'm glad it's on TV again. |

Boredom = Creativity!

Check out Hitler lurking on the mountain, along with that hella-sweet attack chopper mowing down that poor girl laying some sod down. Why children are laying sod down in the middle of a battlefield, who knows! The one girl was so scared, she crapped her pants while trying to hide under some sod!
The moral of the picture is: Never stick your hand in a cave full of bears. Angry bears. -AND- You never know where that crazy Hitler will show up next! |

Saturday night at Monty's Krown on Monroe Ave, around 10:30 pm, for FREE. It's 21 and over, however. Sorry kiddies.
The debut show of Aquaholic, a new rock band on the Rochester scene. Check out our website, and come down to our show! Our music is truly unique, in fact, it may soothe your ears. We don't rock tooo hard, nor do we rock too soft. We somehow find a happy medium. Check us out! |

Ahh, the summer is almost upon us. How exciting!
The past while has been very busy and exciting. Friday was a super fun day of 18 holes of golf with Huber Boy 1, followed by a grandma birthday bonanza, followed by some texas holdem action. Good times.
Saturday was a dreaded softball tournament thing at the sports park. We were supposed to be play 4 games, but by the time we were finished with 2 games, it was already 3. Most of us were tired, so we left.
My lovely girlfriend Chiron came over for the evening on Saturday night as well. We watched School of Rock. I enjoy that movie a lot. We also made some plans for dinner this coming friday for our one monthiversary. Still haven't decided where to go yet. She better decide soon! *shakes fist*
Sunday we were up bright and early, as decided by the sun shining in at like, 6 in the morning. Ugh! But it was nice to have her there to wake up to. It was the start of a busy day. It started at 10 with the first flag football game of the season. We were dominant the entire game, winning 48-0. No contest. It was nice to have Huber Boy 2 back this season, after missing last season due to rehab... or something. After that, I went to my mom's for mother's day and stuff. Then I went to pati's moms for more stuff. Then I came back here and crashed hard for a couple hours. Around 6, it was time for rock in a new summer project with Joe Loporcaro (of With Any Luck fame) and Steve LaPlaca (of Flour City Knuckleheads fame, and the previous entry's depictions). It was some good rock, and we're looking forward to playing out as a 3 piece sometime very soon. I'll keep peoples updated as the days progress.
Today was spent sitting around, because this is my week off from school. My spring semester finished up last week. I ended up with a 3.925 GPA for that semester. Disappointing. Summer sessions start next week however. So I spent the day going over some songs and whatnot, and eventually Chiron came over for some delicious pasta dinner prepared by my aunt. I wish I had some more right now... sigh... *makes emo face*. And now I sit here reporting to you, the little people.
The rest of the week holds nothing on Tuesday, more rock on Wednesday followed by the midnight showing of Star Wars at the mall, then some BBQ action with Naz people on Thursday, Dinner with Chiron on Friday, my AST-W test on Saturday, more possible rock on Saturday night, and so forth. Maybe I'll update again in a month or so. If you're lucky. |

| What's new!? |
[Apr. 19th, 2005|09:10 pm] |
I'll tell you what! Well, a whole lot I guess.
I guess I should start with the new girlfriend. Yeah, pretty exciting stuff. Her name is Chiron. No, she's not black. That's what I first thought when I heard the name. Weird name, but it's different. Cool stuff. She's also a grad student in an education program, but at Fisher. So we're pretty much doing the same thing. I'm excited. Don't want to give too much information right now though.
School is going well. This semester is drawing to a close. I'll have a week off, then it's school for the rest of the summer. Awesome! I've decided to boycott from buy books for the rest of my time in school. There has to be some master conspiracy between book publishers, the stores, and the professors. There always seems to be a 'new edition' of the most expensive text books coming out all the time. I want to get to the bottom of this. Bastards.
Our bowling season is over. We went from first place to last place in the matter of a season. We rock. Luckily, it appears we will be picking up some major free agent pick ups in the offseason to bolster our roster.
I'm saddened that I won't be playing any volleyball, dodgeball, or softball this summer. Good thing for football on Sunday mornings. I'll look forward to that.
My band, With Any Luck, has played a couple shows recently, each one going relatively well. Hopefully we can get some more shows booked over the summer around here. I'd love to play an outdoor festival thing. That would be sweet. I'm tired of playing at Fisher. I've done the lead vocals on 'Back in Black' the last couple shows too, which has gone over very well.
How about that weather recently? Too bad it's going to snow this weekend. At least I went out and enjoyed it for most of the afternoon today. Went to the canal for some ice cream with Chiron, along with some mini golf. Good times. I'm undefeated at mini golf. I wish I could really golf. Hopefully that'll happen in the next couple weeks.
I'm still waiting for my refund from the government. Bastards.
I've reinstalled Medal of Honor Allied Assault on my computer again. What an awesome game. I love the online multiplayer stuff. I'm surprised to see so many people still play that game as well. Well done!
Well, time to go play some bass or something. Later nerds! |

If you read this, you should post a memory of me. It can be anything you want, it can be good or bad, just so long as it happened. Then post this to your journal. See what people remember about you. |
